When the clinic is closed, you can still receive emergency care for your pet. Please call 204-728-9140 and leave a message. This action will page the doctor on call. We share after hours calls with Brandon Hills Veterinary Clinic, so the doctor you reach may be one from that clinic. The records and/or care of your pet can be transferred to us at the start of the next regular business day.
Experience THE DIFFERENCE
Our veterinarians and staff share a passion for pets — we’re pet owners, too!
Our clinic is warm and calming, and provides a home-like atmosphere without a sterile, clinical feel. It is always exceptionally clean and smells good.
We do not double-book or overbook appointments. This means the waiting area is not packed with people and pets, creating a less stressful experience for you and your pet.
We book longer (30-minute) appointments for new puppies and kittens. We believe we need this additional time to review all of your questions and educate you on your pet’s important first year of life.
We encourage twice-yearly visits for senior pets in order to maintain optimal health and to monitor health parameters that change as your pet ages (e.g. blood pressure).
We do not over-vaccinate. We use the most current vaccines that provide three years of protection.
We have a visiting room. If your pet must stay at our hospital, we can arrange times for you to visit in our private visiting room complete with calming music, a comfy couch and a big window that provides natural light.
Acupuncture and alternative medicine are offered by Dr. Tracy Radcliffe, a certified veterinary acupuncturist, who integrates her knowledge of alternative herbal medicine with traditional therapies.
We thoroughly believe in the food and products we sell. We would not recommend anything we would not use for our own pets.
Safety and Comfort are PARAMOUNT
Not all anesthesia is alike. We use the most current anesthesia types and safest protocols to encourage quick recovery for your pet without the grogginess and nausea of older anesthesia and protocols.
Because surgery creates pain by its nature, we use a protocol that includes giving the appropriate medication to control and minimize pain BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the procedure.
Anesthetized animals are monitored at all times by an Animal Health Technologist until recovery is complete. Your pet is recovered on warming pads and cushioned blankets.
We provide IV fluids to your pet when they undergo anesthesia and surgery in order to keep their blood pressure from dropping (a side effect of anesthesia) and to protect their organs while they sleep.
When your pet is discharged from the hospital, you will meet with the Animal Health Technologist or Doctor who provided the care for your pet. They will answer all your questions and provide the written instructions and information you need to help your pet recover at home.

Helpful staff and vets. I have taken my guinea pigs there for treatment several times. Great clinic!
