Dr. Hess is a board certified avian veterinarian who treats only avian and exotics pets. She has over 15 years experience treating guinea pigs and other exotics pets and is the former head of the avian and exotics department at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Hess currently owns a brand new state of the art animal hospital in Bedford Hills, New York that treats only avian and exotics pets (no cats or dogs). Dr. Hess is a fantastic guinea pig vet and her expertise, knowledge and compassion are unmatched.
