Hello. I have one short haired American female guinea pig. I got her for my little boys, but I soon found that they are still too young to keep care of a pet. We have a new baby at home and it's becoming too much for me to care for. Winkles is her name and she is very sweet! I would really love for her to have a good home, somewhere that she will get the attention that she needs. I live just outside of Charlotte, NC. Please call me if you can provide Winkles a loving home. 704-701-2299. Thank you. -Kristen

Hi, I live in Puyallup Washington I urgently need to get rid of my adult female guinea pig
Since I am moving to Chicago soon. I don't know if you would like to travel so far for a guinea pig or not so...
She is calm and will lay down when you pet her I have introduced her to one guinea pig and she hasn't gotten along
I want her to go to a great home were she can have a lot of interaction she will come with everything but I don't know if you want the cage it's a bit weird she is for
Adoption everything will be free I don't know her exact age she may be about two years old. ( I've had her for a year )
But if you are interested please message me at my email Destinymalcolm206@gmail.com thank you for your time

Hi. Im abbey im looking to rehome my two female short hair crested guinea pigs. They ARE a bonded pair and would need to be together. They come with a 2x5 cage from cavy cages, lots of toys and they are supppperrr sweet. They have no experience with aggression other when they were introduced. They may be skitish at first but warm up to you. You COULD rename them but hopefully you wouldnt. Their names are shortened. Christmas is shortened to Chrissy. And Blizzadd is shortened to Blizzy. They are around the age of two. Chrissy is younger than Blizzy by 6 months. They came from the same mom. Okay about the drive. I live like 30 ish minutws from St.louis so im not sure if you wpuld be up to it? But they would be very happy to be in a new home. Lady is beautiful. I have two boys of my own. Very loving. Neutered. They reside in separate cages but play with each other outside in the grass, on the floor with each other on towels, in a big Tupperware bin with bedding and hay. I read that she needs subvissive female? What does that mean? Is she aggressive and needs to control? I don't know the meaning of the term in this case. But I am considering adopting. I also have a cat around the same age as timon her name is Nola but she gets along so well with timon and I know she will get along with other guinea pigs because I babysat timons brother zues and father Toby and she absolutely got along with them. Hi, my name is Madeline and unfortunatly I am looking for a home for my Guinea pig Jasper. He is a bit less than a year old. Recently I have found that I am allergic to him and will not be able to keep him. I want him to go to a home where he recieves the attention that he deserves, which he will sadly not get here. I love Jasper very much but am willing to give him up for the betterment of his life. So, I was wondering if you would be able to take him in? He is a very nice guinea pig who rarely nibbles and likes to sit in your lap and be stroked, (especially his chin) , he is a little shy and skiddish but extremly sweet. So I Was wondering would you be able to drive nearer to the twin cities to pick him up?

Hello. Unless your male is neutered, please do not adopt a female. There are so many piggies up for adoption due to unplanned litters! Get him a male playmate so they can live together :)

Hi Brittany, I just wanted to inform you that harnesses are very dangerous for guinea pigs. Just wanted to tell you for the safety of Charlie. :)

I'm so sorry you have to give up your babies. I would be devastated! I have a 1 year old short haired male. His name is Charlie and he's quite the star at our home. I would love adopt your girls! Of course charlie would be separated from them, he'd be to feisty with them. He gets all of his needs met and more. We also take him to aloha pets vet in satellite beach if we ever have an issue. For my family, I have 2 little girls ages 3 and 1 and they love feeding Charlie his vegetables lol. We live in a 3 bedroom condo in rockledge with a small yard rright outside our front door, Charlie has a harness so he is able to run without being in danger. It sounds silly but that's his outdoor exercise lol we really love our Charlie bear and I would be honored to house two cavy girls.

Sincerely,
Brittany Baumann

both are sweet as can be. sometimes they might nip at each other over food and such. i would only be willing to give them new homes if i knew they were going to be loved and cared for well. i think taking on 5 has gotten to be a bit much and killing my sinuses really bad. i also moved and do not have as much room now. i figured this site might be safer in that they would not be fed to be eating by other animals. please when responding tell me what kind of home you could offer my sweet girls and if you have any experience in taking care of guinea pigs or if you have not if you plan on it before getting any.
