I enjoyed reading this book. I was really searching for underlying WHY of the use of guinea pigs in their healing rituals. I never really got my answer about what spiritually made the guinea pig unique and important in this way. It was just an accepted part of the story. But a really fascinating read to anyone who has a deep-seated interest in guinea pigs and their history.
